The American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL), the world’s largest professional Ultimate disc league, along with UltiX Technology, its majority-owned technology development company, and LSports Data, a global leader in the delivery of real-time sports data solutions, proudly announce the signing of a strategic data distribution and co-development agreement today.

The five-year agreement, signed today by Steve Hall, CEO and Commissioner of the AUDL, and Dotan Lazar, CEO of LSports Data, designates LSports as the AUDL’s “Official Data Partner” and grants LSports exclusive rights to distribute AUDL Official Data and enhanced betting solutions to online and in-person betting partners worldwide.

Additionally, the agreement will result in a collaborative effort between LSports and UltiX to develop and deliver the world’s first predictive betting algorithms and artificial intelligence (AI) designed specifically for the sport of Ultimate, which will be available in time for the start of the 2022 AUDL season. UltiX has developed unique data gathering and publishing technologies and, in collaboration with LSports, will devote significant technical and product development resources into developing fascinating and entertaining data sets and betting solutions for the betting industry.

“A critical component of our expansion plan has been leveraging our data, technology, media, and gaming assets to attract new fans to our thrilling, action-packed sport,” AUDL CEO and Commissioner Steve Hall stated. “We could not have found a finer data partner to assist us in accomplishing this aim than LSports. They are nimble, focused, and imaginative, and share our vision for our sport’s enormous entertainment potential on a global scale.”

LSports CEO Dotan Lazar stated, “LSports is renowned worldwide for its real-time data solutions, which include pre-match and in-play odds, as well as bet stimulation services. We were searching for a new sports property to collaborate with as we enter the North American market. The AUDL gave us with the ideal launch pad, with twenty-two teams, 139 live events, and complete control over its data and video streaming assets.” “Our relationship with SCCG Management will enable us to address the growing demand for thrilling and high-scoring team sports from betting partners in the United States and throughout the world,” Lazar continued.

SCCG Management’s founder, Stephen Crystal, stated, “We are extremely delighted to have introduced these two forward-thinking organizations and even more proud to be driving the sales and distribution of the data solutions they will co-develop. Professional ultimate and the AUDL, we feel, will grow in popularity as more US and foreign bettors become aware of this extensively played action sport.”

The AUDL, LSports, UltiX, and SCCG will invest a total of $3 million USD throughout the five-year life of the deal in data rights acquisition, engineering, product development, sales, and support.

A Brief History of AUDL and Professional Ultimate

The American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) was created in 2012 with the mission of introducing and showcasing our gifted athletes and precise play to a global audience. Ultimate is a fast-paced, high-energy, low-contact sport in which players advance a disc along a field in order to score by passing into the end zone. Players are not permitted to run with the disc, and the game will continue until one team scores. Each game creates several amazing receptions and defensive plays that routinely appear on EPSN’s Sports Center Top 10, Fox Sports, Bleacher Report, and other top sports shows.

The league consists of 22 clubs based in the United States and Canada. Each club plays a 12-game regular season schedule, with the best teams progressing to the playoff round and division champions to a final four-style Championship Weekend. Our audience loves our thrilling, cheap, family-friendly events, consumes our highlights and video features on social media, and watches our full-length games on television or via live streaming.

In 2021, Fox Sports will broadcast the AUDL Game of the Week on Wednesday evenings, while FS1 will broadcast the Championship game in Washington, DC. The Game of the Week and all regular season games will be televised live on AUDL.tv and via streaming and broadcast partners throughout Europe, the Indian subcontinent, portions of Latin America, and Oceania.
